  • Contract: Permanent, Full time
  • Working pattern:  Monday to Friday, office based at least 3 days a week with the option to work from home 2 days a week

This is a great opportunity for someone with Power BI experience who is looking to build on their existing skills in reporting, data analysis and modern data platforms.

In the role, you will work hands-on with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and SQL, helping to develop dashboards, maintain reporting environments and deliver meaningful insight across the organisation.

What can you expect to be doing?

Working under the guidance of the Data Analyst, you will develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data from our Microsoft Fabric Data Platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the administration and governance of Power BI workspaces, datasets, and applications.
  • Assisting with report availability, dataset refreshes, and performance monitoring.
  • Using SQL and Power BI tools to support report development and data validation.
  • Providing day-to-day support to report users and promoting reporting best practices.
  • Maintaining documentation and contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting services.

What skills and experience will you bring?

You will have:

  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation principles and reporting best practice.
  • Some experience working with SQL and structured datasets.
  • An understanding of or interest in learning Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to present information clearly and accurately.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support a wide range of users.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn and develop within a growing data function.

You do not need to meet every requirement exactly. If you have strong Power BI experience and a willingness to learn, we’d still like to hear from you.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills in business intelligence, reporting, and data analytics while contributing to the delivery of valuable insights across the organisation.
